Після ДУЖЕ мокрого і заболоченого грудня на Новому Соколі (зверніться до вставки знимки згори зліва), земля нарешті замерзла в січні достатньо для продовження будівництва. До нинішнього дня є великий поступ: фудамент барака збудований, стіни стоять, і структура покрита дошками щоби охоронити від снігу. Цього тижня вставляють електрику (припускаючи, що електрик може пройти через сніг!). Сподіємося, що барак буде закінчений в травні 2019p.
After a VERY wet and muddy December at Novyj Sokil (see inset photo top left), the cold January froze the ground sufficiently for barrack construction to proceed. And proceed it has: as of early February, the foundation has been built, the walls erected, and plywood sheeting applied to enclose the structure from the elements. This week, electrical work is being done (provided that the electrician can get through the snow!). Our target completion date is mid-May 2019.
